Pioneer
“Pet Insights Engine” was an internal group of forward thinking professionals at Purina who invest time and resources on the identification and development of innovative, data-driven IoT pet products. As part of the branding exercise, the team was renamed Pioneer.
The pioneering spirit behind the Pet Insights Engine team inspired the new name and I was confident that a flag visual would somehow be an exciting solution. Creating a hybrid icon concept that included the profile of dog was an early discovery that proved to work nicely. Adding the 1 and 0 (binary) to the word mark was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.
